Finally Home...
Our wish for all of the
cats that we rescue
is for them to find
loving, forever homes.

Ruby

Once a terrified stray and now  a treasured companion.  Ellie, now Ruby, has everything she could have dreamed of - and we couldn't be happier for her.

"Wanted to update you: this cat is incredible.  She is so sweet, patient, and loving.   She sits with me when I'm taking exams (even though sometimes she likes to type for me) and is the biggest lap cat ever.  So excited for our life together!"--Marin

Fawkes

Angel was the tiniest little bottle baby when she arrived - having been orphaned in a winter storm.  It looks like she has put all that behind her now and is soaking up nothing but love these days.

"Just wanted to update you on Angel, or Fawkes now!  She is perfect for our family. It took her less than a minute to make herself at home and tell the dog who is boss. She's very loving and loves the kids! She's already my bestie. I couldn't of asked for a better cat. Thank you so much for helping us find her! :)"--Dairian

Tito

Bandit, now Tito, was the leader of the pack for cuddles and shenanigans when he lived in our cattery.  The lucky guy found his forever home and got humans and dogs for his best friends.

"Thank you so much for your help to foster and adopt Tito!  Tito is so happy he finally has two doggy friends. He loves to cuddle everyone, yet is so playful at the same time. The perfect combo!! "--Jessica

Maurice

Sebastian packed his kitty bags and headed off to Wichita Kansas once he found the humans that he loved.  Congratulations sweet boy.

"I just wanted to send some positivity and appreciation for all your hard work. I adopted my kitty from you guys back in November, originally named Sebastian but renamed as Maurice.  He has made our home so filled with love and happiness. We love him so very very much. Thank you for taking care of him before us. We’re so lucky to have him."--Julia

Pearl

Marzapan, now Pearl, was part of a litter of kittens raised in our care.  Her mom was quite taken with her at the adoption appointment, but says now she is always impressed with how clever and entertaining Pearl can be.

"I renamed her Pearl she is the best. Thank you for what ya'll do."-- Anne

Picture

Ben

Ben was a neighborhood stray who found his way to us.  He is quite the charmer and we enjoyed every moment that he was in our care before his journey home to Missouri.
Picture

"He is VERY playful and seems like he has a constant internal pretend make believe dialogue in his head thinking he is somewhere pouncing on something.  We wish he liked to snuggle a little more, but he does like to be held and insists on being held on his back cradled like a baby.  He likes my daughter the best and runs full speed to her when he hears her voice first thing. He is 12 lbs and definitely BIg Ben because of his Big personality! He is very smart and very food motivated.  Thank you for saving Ben and keeping him for us!"-- Amanda

Rachel

This loving tabby grew up at the cattery and loved affection.  I used to tell her, "You need a mommy" because she would sit on my lap and refuse to get up.  Rachel took my advice and found herself a mommy - right before Christmas.  Hard to see her go, but so happy to see her safe at home.

"She has definitely come our of her shell.  She is a blessing and is spoiled every single day by the whole family."--Taylor

"Calypso is doing super well.  She gets to hang out with her new sister and is happy to play fetch all day long."--Terri

Socks

When a young lady came to adopt a "cuddly" cat - we had a few in mind for her to meet.  There was no question which kitten had placed all of his trust and love in this sweet human.  And that day Mr. O became Socks and has not questioned that he is indeed Loved.

"Socks is doing great and adjusted really well."--Dawn

Sophia and Nala

Adults are just harder to adopt... Kittens  steal the show.  You can imagine how happy we were to see Nala going to her forever home in Guthrie.  But can you imagine our excitement when Nala's new mom and dad returned a week later to adopt her roommate (and sister), Sophia?  Well, it was crazy-big excitement.  Made us feel all warm and snuggly in our hearts.

Lucy

Sophia, now Lucy, had only been in our cattery for one week when her mom found her.  Lucy believes it wasn't a moment too soon seeing as how she was not a fan of the other cats - and she was highly ready to be spoiled!

Picture

Apollo

There was no question  that Bruce, now Apollo, fell in love with his new human right off the bat.  We did wonder what he would think of the extended family... but it looks like Apollo is making it work!  Way to go :)

"Apollo is adjusting extremely well to our home.  He plays with his toys (and pencils for some reason).  He loves being held and chin scratches.  He loves trying to play with the rabbit and the dog is a great cuddle partner for him." -- Amelia

There is an emptiness that remains when we lose a beloved pet.  Marigold's dads know this full well.  After she passed, they were looking to adopt sweet Lucy - and we said "hooray!"... But when they met Lucy we were surprised to learn that they had room in their hearts and home for her two brothers also.  "Hip-Hip-Hooray!".  There is never a shortage of cuddles or shenanigans with this trio - and we can't help but smile when we think of their good fortune.

Sisters and Adventurers - Penelope and Ebony (Now Ruth and Eve) knew immediately that they wanted to move to Colorado with their new mom.  The question was, would they take to their doggy sister, Betty.  The answer is: yes!

This gorgeous kitty let me post her picture on our Facebook page and within an hour was changing her last name to Clewell and moving in with her new family!

"Mary Eliza (now Minerva) is a wonderful addition to our family. She is
very intelligent, and has discovered how to slightly open doors
and vertical jump onto counters. She's very curious and is mesmerized
by anything that moves. She loves playing with things that have been left on the ground and our youngest dog, Pepper. She also loves the
bathroom and trying to get into water. She's the perfect cat for our
family and is just a delight to be around!"--Tasha

Milo

Howard (now Milo) adopted an entire family and moved off to Newcastle with his favorite blanket.

"He is gentle and beautiful!  We are giving him space to get comfortable but loving on him when he allows.  He has suckled my hand and arm a few times and is usually purring when you pet him." --Angel

Lenny

Lenny was the playful joker from a litter of six kittens.  Joe was the only cat in a home and he was lonely.  Joe's dad came to find a new kitten for the family.  And that is how Lenny became Joe's little brother and best friend!

"He fits in very well.  Lenny and Joe play most of the day." --Quentin

Molly and Murphy

Molly and Murphy were received by WCCF in very poor health.  In fact, two of their siblings had already died from flea anemia.  These two fighters worked really hard to get healthy and strong.  When Murphy was scheduled to meet his new dad we thought to ask how he would feel about keeping this pair together.  Fortunately he felt as good about that decision as we did!  Now these two are busy being spoiled in Clinton, Oklahoma.

These sweet brothers were very lucky to be adopted together.  They are living their dream right now: a man, a lap, and a recliner.  What more could they want?

"They are home.  And bossy.  They love being everywhere we are and are so mischievous.  They keep us going.  The boys and the dog have come to an agreement.  They do what they want and the dog lets them!"--Sherry

"It's official!  Kaii is our new family member!  He really is the sweetest!  There is no personal space with him.  He loves to lay on you.  He is really smart."---Dacee

Elijah

Elijah was a handful from the day he arrived - it was like letting loose a puppy in a room full of kittens.  Ask any volunteer and they will agree that this little one gave us a run for our money.  He was quick to attack the other kittens and lacked the social skills necessary to have any friends.  Lucky for him, someone was looking for a cat to live alongside dogs and we knew this had to be his perfect match!
"He is doing great.  He is turning into quite the character.  We love him so much.  Dogs and him are making friends - they lay together.  There has been no problem; Dogs are scared of him and he knows it..."---Brenda

Pearl

Pearl was a gentle wallflower that we always sensed got a little overwhelmed by sharing space with other kittens at the cattery.  Imagine the joy in her heart the day her new mom and dad arrived to take her home.

"Pearl is our little princess. She is such a doll.  We are both so happy to have her and she loves us back.  She is still not very interested in her toys, but she loves her little window hammock we set up for her." -- Emily

Sissy and Dude

Dude (Toby) was our three-legged wonder that was thrilled to adopt his new family this fall.  He instantly warmed up to his new home and even befriended Penny, the Golden Retriever.  Several weeks after his placement, Dude's mom returned to adopt his sister (Bennie, now Sissy) so they could be together.  We couldn't be happier for these two siblings to have their forever home together!

Missy

Missy's mom set out looking for her perfect cat.  We looked at a lot of kittens, but when she held Missy it was obvious that the two had found each other.  Missy was able to be fostered by her adoptive mom while awaiting her spay surgery which made for a seamless transition.  Wishing you both years of happiness!

"For such a small cat, Missy has a big personality1  She loves to snuggle, play with her brother, climb on her tower, and play with all of her toys.  Missy is one of a kind and we have become the best of friends!  I also just want to thank the Watonga Community Cat Foundation for helping me find my furry friend!"--Alex

Jewel and Ms. Kitty

Jewel and Ms. Kitty were part of the very first litter rescued by WCCF.  They were the inaugural residents of our cattery and win the award for most mischief caused.  But when the time came for them to be part of a family, we nervously bid them goodbye.  They are now living a great life with their mom in Oklahoma City.  They send emails and updates occasionally to let us know what shenanigans they are up to.   Way to go girls!

"They are very good at hiding, lol. They did that as soon as they found a place to do that.  They are so much like me, their bday is 2 days before mine so we are all Leo's. I have always been more of a night person, they seem to be as well. They are wonderful cats, I love them so much. Thank you so much." -- Brenda

Harry and Harley

A great example of kittens adopting their owners is Harry and Harley.  At their new parents' meet and greet, Harley kept climbing up on her new dad's shoulder and perching.  Needless to say, that evening they were part of a family in their new home.
